About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health to join our team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with a range of pelvic health conditions, including those related to pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to understand their treatment proposals and gain valid informed consent to work within a legal framework.
  • Use advanced verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with patients and their carers.
  • Impact highly sensitive complex information to patients that may be unwelcome, to gain cooperation and progress rehabilitation/treatment programmes.
  • Communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively at a high level with colleagues across all disciplines.
  • Prepare and submit reports for consultants, solicitors, and other agencies as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Physiotherapy.
  • State registration evidence of relevant postgrad courses or specialist/advanced level/CPD.
  • Experience in women's health and pelvic health physiotherapy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
