About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health to join our team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with a range of pelvic health conditions, including those related to pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to understand their treatment proposals and gain valid informed consent to work within a legal framework.
  • Use an advanced range of verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively in a reassuring manner with patients and their carers.
  • Impact highly sensitive complex information to patients that may be unwelcome, to gain cooperation and progress rehabilitation/treatment programmes.
  • Ability to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively at a high level with colleagues across all disciplines.
  • Communicate assessment findings and treatment pathways to appropriate disciplines in the form of reports and letters that may contain highly complex and sensitive information.
  • Prepare and submit reports for solicitors for legal purposes and other agencies, as required.
