About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health to join our team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with a range of pelvic health conditions, including those related to pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to understand their treatment proposals and gain valid informed consent to work within a legal framework.
  • Use advanced verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with patients and their carers.
  • Impact highly sensitive complex information to patients to gain cooperation and progress rehabilitation/treatment programmes.
  • Communicate assessment findings and treatment pathways to appropriate disciplines in the form of reports and letters.
  • Prepare and submit reports for legal purposes and other agencies as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy and state registration.
  • Relevant postgraduate experience, including work in women's health.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
