About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Directorate of Estates and Facilities management team, covering a wide range of services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential and efficient administrative services, including word processing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both hard copy and computer-based.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings, events, and travel arrangements for the Facilities and Estates Management Team.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, managers, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds Certificate, or RSA III in a related discipline.
  • Experience of working in a similar role or discipline, with a proven track record of providing high-quality administrative support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Proficient in the use of computer packages, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail.
