Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Care Assistant to join our team at SNAP Care. This role involves providing personalized support to a young individual with complex care requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 assistance to a 14-year-old with intricate medical and care needs.
  • Assist with personal care, medication administration, and feeding routines.
  • Support educational activities and implement therapy programs as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in recreational activities and games to promote social interaction and enjoyment.
  • Collaborate with a team of caregivers to ensure a seamless transition of care.
Working Hours

This position offers a structured schedule during weekdays, with additional opportunities during school holidays. The typical hours include:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Additional hours may be available for administrative tasks.
Client Environment

The client’s home is fully equipped to accommodate their needs, and they are supported by a dedicated team of professionals. A pet cat is part of the household.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Confident and energetic, with a positive attitude.
  • A non-smoker/vaper.
  • A driver, with the ability to transport the client for activities.
