About the Role:

Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years' experience in providing care and support services, is seeking a committed and empathetic Care Support Worker to care for individuals with complex learning disability needs in Forest Gate, London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social and emotional support to individuals in their homes and local community
  • Support with personal care, including personal hygiene needs
  • Assist with shopping and budgeting
  • Build and maintain relationships with friends and family of individuals we support
  • Perform household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompany individuals on walks, meals, and other activities

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, including Autism (full training provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Car driver desirable but not essential
