Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical handovers and allocate patient care and therapeutic activities
  • Ensure all activities of daily living are supported in a person-centered way, focusing on independence and wellbeing
  • Administer medication and participate in care planning, risk assessments, and discharge planning
  • Supervise junior colleagues, including healthcare assistants and student nurses
  • Ensure the Mental Health Act is correctly applied

  • Registered on the NMC register
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
