About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Colleague at Pets at Home Retail. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, ensuring customers receive accurate information and advice.
  • Contribute to the overall visual merchandising and store presentation, ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment for customers.
  • Participate in stock management and replenishment, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock losses.
  • Support the management team in achieving business objectives, including sales targets and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Physical ability to lift and move stock, as required.
