Job Title: Commercial Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Partnerships Manager to join our team at Phoenix Group Holdings. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans that drive business value and improve our competitive market position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost savings.
  • Manage end-to-end relationships with suppliers to ensure delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Lead the procurement process, negotiating key commercial terms and contracts, and managing post-contract award supplier relationships.
  • Implement cost transformation strategies to generate savings and drive profitability.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic guidance and support.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor category performance and track savings.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable background of improving the value proposition of procurement for indirect spend.
  • Experience of adopting a strategic approach to procurement, from defining category scope through to on-going maintenance of a defined and agreed category strategy.
  • Strong negotiation acumen, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders based on credibility and trust.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience of working with procurement tools and systems.
  • Current working knowledge of contracting models.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
