Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Talent Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic priorities of our organization and play a key role in shaping the future of our talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Programme Management:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for our apprenticeship and returner programmes, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and deliver training programmes for individuals on the programmes and their managers, focusing on skills development and knowledge transfer.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of feedback from apprentices and returners, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as required.
  • Provide pastoral care and development support to all individuals on the programmes, acting as a liaison between them and our business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the use of our apprenticeship levy, exploring new training initiatives and partnerships.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a global work experience programme, working closely with colleagues and regional contacts.
Diversity Outreach:
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract diverse candidates to our programmes, leveraging partnerships and networks to increase representation.
  • Maintain relationships with diversity partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Other:
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects as required, applying expertise and skills to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  1. At least 3+ years of relevant experience in HR or a training provider, managing or supporting early careers and career switchers/returners.
  2. Experience of managing a budget and knowledge of the apprenticeship levy.
  3. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs.
  4. Proven project management skills, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Some knowledge or interest in Learning & Development would be beneficial.
