The Position:

Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the People strategy within our Retail teams. As a Junior HR Business Partner, you will provide essential support to our retail operations while advancing your HR career. Collaborating closely with the Senior HR Business Partner, you will deliver strategic HR assistance, enhance organizational effectiveness, and cultivate a positive workplace culture. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to learn and make a meaningful contribution in the HR domain. You will leverage your strong communication, coaching, and influencing abilities to empower Line Managers and promote consistency and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster robust internal stakeholder relationships through effective communication and visibility in the field, whether in our Stores, Distribution Centre, or Support Centre.
  • Establish professional credibility and maintain ongoing relationships as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Employee Relations Advisor and Senior HR Business Partners to address employee inquiries, resolve conflicts, and ensure a constructive work environment.
  • Support our comprehensive talent and succession planning process alongside the recruitment strategy by participating in hiring processes, conducting interviews, and partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent.
  • Assist in implementing the performance management process, including performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and development plans.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards by staying informed on HR laws and regulations, and assist in policy formulation and communication.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction, including conducting engagement surveys and developing action plans.
  • Maintain precise HR records and generate reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment statistics.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, providing research, analysis, and administrative support as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior HR Business Partner and other members of the People team to deliver integrated HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
