About the Role

The NHS is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Professional. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality clinical services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Vaccination Services: The successful candidate will be responsible for administering vaccinations to children in schools and community clinics, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest level of patient safety.
  2. Team Collaboration: As a key member of our team, the candidate will work closely with colleagues to support the smooth delivery of services, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive excellence in patient care.
  3. Clinical Supervision: The candidate will participate in regular clinical supervision sessions with the Clinical Lead, receiving guidance and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
  4. Incident Reporting: The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting, monitoring, and processing clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints in accordance with NHS policies and procedures.
  5. Professional Development: The candidate will be expected to maintain ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest immunisation schedules, protocols, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: The successful candidate must hold a relevant professional qualification, such as a pharmacist, paramedic, or physiotherapist registration with the relevant governing body.
  • Experience: The candidate should have evidence of ongoing professional development, a strong understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule, and current immunisation training or a willingness to undertake.
  • Knowledge: The successful candidate should have knowledge of immunisation schedules in accordance with national recommendations, including cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport.
