About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Marketing Leader to join our team at Techniche. As a key member of our Operational Leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and marketing outcomes across our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Growth Marketing Strategy
    • Design and deliver on the growth marketing strategy, including lead generation, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and market fit.
    • Establish the GTM plan, messaging, and positioning, and ensure the right questions are asked across the business for successful GTM.
  • Lead Marketing Activities
    • Specialize in solution-based marketing and demand generation, including campaign management.
    • Drive growth outcomes from CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Foster Team Success
    • Foster remarkable results across your team by being a mentor, coach, leader, and manager.
  • Represent Marketing to the Business
    • Represent the marketing team to the business, elevating the profile of marketing by having a clear vision and understanding of what marketing brings to the business.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Drive Customer Acquisition
    • Drive customer acquisition: Increase the number of new customers acquired through marketing efforts, measured by metrics like the number of leads generated, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
  • Enhance Customer Retention and Loyalty
    • Enhance customer retention and loyalty: Develop strategies to nurture existing customers, increase repeat purchases, and foster brand loyalty, measured by customer retention rates, customer lifetime value (CLTV), customer value proposition (CVP), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Optimize Marketing Campaigns
    • Optimize marketing campaigns: Continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing campaigns, measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Foster Strategic Partnerships
    • Foster strategic partnerships: Establish and nurture partnerships with complementary businesses or influencers to amplify brand reach and drive mutually beneficial growth, measured by partnership performance indicators such as referral traffic and partnership-generated revenue.
Requirements
  • Deliver Marketing Activities that Drive Growth
    • Delivering marketing activities that deliver growth for SaaS solutions is essential; this should be demonstrable in at least three of your previous roles.
  • International Marketing Experience
    • International marketing experience is essential.
  • Articulate Marketing Outcomes
    • Can clearly articulate marketing outcomes in a monetized way.
  • Previous Experience in High-Growth PE-Backed Business
    • Previous experience in working in a high-growth PE-backed business is essential.
  • CMMS, Network Management, or Electric Vehicle/EV Charging Points Experience
    • Previous experience in the CMMS, Network Management, or Electric Vehicle/EV charging points sectors would be highly advantageous.
Broader Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership Team Member
    • A member of the Operational Leadership team, reporting to Exec on marketing activity and effectiveness.
  • Brand Ownership and Strategy
    • Overall brand ownership, design, and strategy. We recently completed a brand redesign, so the focus on this will be limited in the short and medium term.
  • Market Insights and Analysis
    • Consolidate and communicate relevant insights that determine market opportunity and integrate these insights into your product marketing plans.
  • Customer Value Proposition (CVP)
    • Lead a strategic and collaborative process with key stakeholders to define the CVP for target audiences. You will also identify and maintain compelling product evidence of CVPs.
  • Employer Brand Development
    • Support the Chief People Officer in developing an Employer Brand.
  • Marketing Team Output and Quality
    • Overseeing all Marketing team output for quality and appropriateness against brief.
  • Marketing Technology and Tooling
    • Owner of Marketing technology/tooling.
  • Product Evangelism
    • Desire to become a product evangelist for Urgent/Techniche EV/Statseeker.
  • Supplier Management and Creative Agencies
    • Supplier Management, design, and creative agencies.
  • Marketing and Communications Strategy Lead
    • Marketing, advertising, and communications strategy lead.
  • Executive Communications
    • Lead for Exec comms.
  • Copywriting and Editing
    • Copywriting and editing.
  • Training and Development
    • Training – marketing and communications for the rest of the business.
  • Marketing Team Development
    • Developing and coaching marketing team members' professional skillsets.
