We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to become part of our Community team as Community Housing Advisors.

Currently, we have one full-time position (36 hours per week) and two part-time positions available (each 18 hours per week). All positions are permanent and offer a competitive salary of £34,601 per annum (pro-rata for part-time).

In the full-time role, you will have the opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight, allowing you to enjoy a day off every other week. The hours for the part-time role can be discussed during the interview process.

We embrace a hybrid working model. Our team operates from our office, while also allowing for remote work on occasion. You will have the chance to visit various sites and hubs as part of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

You will foster and cultivate relationships with contract holders to help them realize their potential and support them in achieving their objectives. Utilizing a relational approach to housing, you will provide an effective and person-centered housing service while promoting contract sustainability.

Your role will involve assisting customers with low-level anti-social behavior (ASB) and managing ASB caseloads in your designated area. You will collaborate with the Community Safety team and the Neighbourhood Income Team, and you will be responsible for managing voids and allocations, as well as addressing daily housing management inquiries.

Our coverage spans seven Local Authority areas.

Required Qualifications:

A genuine enthusiasm for our mission and proven experience in a client service setting are essential to enhance our coaching approach to customers across all aspects of the role.

A good standard of education is necessary, and while a relevant professional housing or business qualification is desirable, it is not mandatory. Your experience in customer service will complement your understanding of housing legislation and management. Experience in customer participation in service delivery and working with clients in a coaching capacity would be advantageous.

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual committed to supporting colleagues in delivering a customer-focused housing service. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective time management are crucial, along with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this position.
