About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Murata Power Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge power converter solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and translate them into innovative power converter designs.
  • Design, develop, and test DC/DC and AC/DC converters to meet customer specifications, ensuring high-quality and reliable products.
  • Conduct detailed design analysis, including circuit simulation, component stress analysis, and MTBF calculations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Lead design verification and qualification testing to ensure products meet electrical, EMC, mechanical, and environmental performance standards.
  • Collaborate with production and test engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide technical support to customers, sales, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging power electronics technologies to drive innovation and growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in power electronics design, including DC/DC and AC/DC converters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Proficiency in circuit simulation and design tools, such as SPICE and CAD software.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
