Design Engineer - Power Electronics Collaborate with Customers to Shape the Future of Power


About the Role: As a Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in understanding customer needs and translating them into cutting-edge power converter designs. You'll work closely with our sales and business development teams to ensure our products meet the exact requirements of our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and test DC/DC and AC/DC converters to meet customer specifications
  • Conduct detailed design analysis, including circuit simulation, component stress analysis, and MTBF calculations
  • Lead design verification and qualification testing, ensuring products meet electrical, EMC, mechanical, and environmental performance standards
  • Collaborate with production and test engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions
  • Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including BOMs and drawings
  • Provide technical support to customers, sales, and production teams
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging power electronics technologies


Ideal Candidate:

  • We're seeking a highly motivated individual with:
  • A degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in power electronics design, including DC/DC and AC/DC converters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to meet project deadlines
  • Proficiency in circuit simulation and design tools (e.g., [Specify simulation tools])
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers
