About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Murata Power Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge power converter solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop DC/DC and AC/DC converters to meet customer specifications, leveraging your expertise in power electronics and circuit simulation.
- Collaborate with our sales and business development teams to ensure our products meet the exact requirements of our customers, driving business growth and revenue.
- Lead design verification and qualification testing, ensuring products meet electrical, EMC, mechanical, and environmental performance standards, and troubleshoot design issues to implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with production and test engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales, and production teams, staying up-to-date on industry trends and emerging power electronics technologies.
Ideal Candidate:
- We're looking for a highly motivated individual with:
- A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in power electronics design, including DC/DC and AC/DC converters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Proficiency in circuit simulation and design tools, and hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
