Job Summary

Fulham School, an independent co-educational institution, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Admissions Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Admissions in developing and implementing a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract and retain students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective parents, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information about the school.
  • Coordinate and conduct school tours, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for visitors.
  • Implement and maintain service standards and quality assurance procedures to meet parent expectations and needs.
  • Develop and execute a conversion approach and associated processes to optimize student recruitment targets, with a focus on conversion from enquiry to application and application to enrolment.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to implement best practice processes to increase student retention.
  • Establish and maintain a network of partners, prospective parents, students, feeder schools, partner organizations, colleges, local businesses, agents, and visitors to the school.
  • Maintain accurate data in school systems, enabling responsive decision-making through the enrolment process and accurate forecasting during annual planning.
  • Assist the Head of Admissions in planning, coordinating, and implementing a successful program of UK and overseas events, including recruitment fairs, open mornings, taster days, exhibition events, and alumni gatherings.
  • Manage budgets, format, location, catering, invitations, publicity, and bookings for admissions-related events.
  • Represent the school in engagements relating to admissions with key external stakeholders, embodying the values and ethos of Fulham School.
Requirements
  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • Understanding of the principles of sales and marketing.
  • Ability to build strong customer advocacy and repeat client loyalty and retention.
  • Commitment to professional development of self.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build confidence and credibility at senior levels both in person and through papers, presentations, and reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work as part of a team and build effective and trusting relationships and professional networks in the wider community.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills – ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a varied workload.
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and resolution abilities.
  • Personable and confident.
  • Highly competent using a range of IT systems, including MIS & data analytics tools.
  • Competency with data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Good work ethic and commitment to the job.
