Behaviour Interactive, a global leader in game development, seeks a talented and passionate Artistic Director to join our dynamic team. We are renowned for collaborating with top industry names like Microsoft, Sony, EA, Warner, 2K, and more, bringing innovative and captivating gaming experiences to life.

As an Artistic Director within our Co-Development vertical, you will be instrumental in guiding the artistic vision of projects across diverse platforms. You'll lead and mentor internal artistic teams, collaborate closely with external partners, and ensure that every visual element reflects the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and Design: Craft compelling visuals inspired by both original concepts and established intellectual properties. Ensure consistency and coherence across all artistic elements.
  • Artistic Leadership: Actively participate in shaping the overall artistic direction of projects through interdepartmental discussions and collaborations.
  • Team Guidance: Provide mentorship and direction to team members, freelancers, and external studio teams, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
  • Process Development: Establish clear objectives, standards, workflows, and feedback mechanisms to ensure efficient and effective artistic production.
  • Quality Assurance: Approve and contribute to the creation of visual assets, define quality benchmarks, content structure, and optimization strategies.
  • Creative Collaboration: Support Game Designers in realizing their creative visions through artistic input and guidance.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about demographic trends, psychographic insights, and emerging market forces to ensure artistic direction aligns with current gaming landscapes.
What We Seek:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience as an Artistic Director or Lead Artist, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality games across diverse genres.
  • Experience in developing original intellectual properties within the video game industry.
  • Mastery of Photoshop, proficiency in Maya, and hands-on experience working with game engines.
  • Exceptional communication and innovation skills, coupled with a deep understanding of the creative process.
  • Fluency in both French and English, both written and spoken.
