Position Overview

As a Creative Lead at Behaviour Interactive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the artistic direction of our projects. This position is integral to our collaborative efforts with external partners and will involve overseeing our internal artistic teams across various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Design: Craft compelling visuals inspired by both new and established intellectual properties, ensuring consistency in the material produced.
  • Artistic Vision Development: Actively engage in defining, maintaining, and evolving the artistic vision through interdepartmental discussions.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor team members, freelancers, and external studio teams as necessary.
  • Objective Setting: Lead the establishment of objectives, standards, processes, and feedback mechanisms to enhance project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Approve and contribute to the creation of visual elements, defining quality standards, content structure, and optimization strategies.
  • Collaboration: Provide artistic support to Game Designers in realizing their creative concepts.
  • Market Awareness: Maintain an understanding of demographic and psychographic consumer trends, incorporating the latest market insights into your work.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Arts or a related degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of five years in a leadership role as an Artistic Director or Lead Artist, with a proven track record of delivering at least two high-quality titles across diverse styles.
  • Experience in developing original intellectual properties within the video game industry.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, familiarity with Maya, and experience working with game engines.
  • Exceptional innovation and communication skills, coupled with a strong grasp of the creative process.
  • Fluency in both French and English, with strong oral and written capabilities.
