Join Our Team as a Lead Research Strategist
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Research Strategist to oversee the South Tees Academic Cardiovascular Unit (ACU). In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the planning, administration, and implementation of funded research initiatives within the ACU. You will coordinate diverse teams, ensuring projects are executed effectively from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in clinical and translational research, particularly in the fields of cardiovascular and thoracic studies. Proven experience in managing clinical trials and a solid understanding of research compliance is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and refining research protocols
- Overseeing study progress and site management
- Ensuring adherence to clinical trial standards
- Contributing to scholarly publications and funding proposals
This is a full-time position with an initial duration of two years, with potential for extension based on performance and available funding.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-site randomized controlled trials
- Comprehensive knowledge of research governance and ethical considerations
