Senior Research Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join the South Tees Academic Cardiovascular Unit (ACU) as a Senior Research Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development, management, and execution of funded ACU research and activities.
Main Duties of the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to manage ACU projects throughout their life cycles. This will include protocol refinement, study set-up, site and progress monitoring, on-going study management, closeout, and reporting with the Chief Investigators (CI). The post holder will ensure that the studies are conducted in accordance with the relevant clinical trial regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement research strategies to achieve ACU goals and objectives.
- Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to conduct clinical trials and research studies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and research governance procedures.
- Develop and maintain databases and records for clinical trials and research studies.
- Contribute to the development and submission of related publications and grant applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research governance, clinical trials management, and team leadership. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
