Position: Engineer Surveyor - Crane & Lifting Equipment
Salary: Starting from £40,500 + Company Car Allowance of £5,500, Additional Benefits
Location: Flexible within designated areas
We are seeking a qualified Engineer Surveyor specializing in Crane and Lifting Equipment to join a prominent organization known for its excellence in the industry. This role involves conducting site visits to ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards during a standard Monday to Friday workweek with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

The Engineer Surveyor will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough inspections and assessments of crane and lifting equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
  • Utilizing technical expertise to maintain, service, and repair various types of lifting machinery.
  • Understanding and applying LOLER & PUWER regulations effectively.
  • Working independently and making informed decisions regarding equipment condition and usage.
  • Performing tasks at heights and in confined spaces as required.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and influencing their decisions positively.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering, or a NVQ Level 3 with substantial experience and a commitment to pursuing a Level 4 qualification.
  • Hands-on experience with crane and lifting equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster client relationships.
  • Residence in the designated working area.
