Job Overview

Position: Engineer Surveyor - Crane & Lifting Equipment
Salary: Base starting from £40,500 + Company Car Allowance of £5,500, along with additional benefits.
Location: Covering the Reading and Oxford regions.
A prominent organization in the engineering sector is seeking a skilled Engineer Surveyor specializing in Crane and Lifting Equipment to operate within the Reading and Oxford territories. This role involves a Monday to Friday schedule with flexible working hours, requiring site visits to ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.

Key Qualifications for the Engineer Surveyor (Crane & Lifting Equipment):

  • Possession of an HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering is preferred. Candidates with NVQ Level 3 and substantial experience, along with a commitment to pursuing a Level 4 qualification, will also be considered.
  • Practical experience in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of various crane and lifting equipment.
  • Familiarity with LOLER & PUWER regulations is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions regarding equipment condition and future usage.
  • Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence clients.
  • Candidates should ideally reside in the Reading or Oxford areas.
