Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager - Lifting Equipment to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Business Development Manager - Lifting Equipment, you will be responsible for generating new business and selling the hire and sale of electric lifting equipment to main contractors, sub-contractors, installers, developers, and construction companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell the hire and sale of electric lifting equipment to main contractors, sub-contractors, installers, developers, and construction companies
  • Generate new business and meet turnover targets of £300k-£500k in the first year and £1.5m in the next few years
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

  • Must have construction external sales experience selling the hire and sales of related products such as lifting gears, plant hire, crane hire, lifting equipment, hoists, etc.
  • Must have experience selling to main contractors, sub-contractors, installers, developers, and construction companies
  • Must have experience generating new business
  • Organized, good time management skills, and self-motivated to perform and reach targets
