Position: Engineer Surveyor - Crane & Lifting Equipment
Salary: Starting from £40,500 + Company Car Allowance of £5,500, Additional Benefits
Location: Reading and Oxford
A prominent Blue-Chip company is seeking a Crane & Lifting Equipment Engineer Surveyor to oversee operations in the Reading and Oxford regions. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule with flexible hours, requiring site visits to ensure all machinery complies with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations.
Key Qualifications for the Engineer Surveyor (Crane & Lifting Equipment):

  • Preferred candidates will possess an HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering. Candidates with NVQ Level 3 and extensive experience, along with a commitment to achieving Level 4 qualifications, will also be considered.
  • Hands-on experience in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of various crane and lifting apparatus is essential.
  • Understanding of LOLER & PUWER regulations is required.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions regarding equipment condition and future use.
  • Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively engage with clients.
  • Ideal candidates should reside in the Reading or Oxford area.
