About the Role


This is a fixed-term position for 12 months or upon the return of the post holder, whichever is sooner.

We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join our successful team at The University of Northampton. This post will play a significant role in the University's success, supporting the Director of Human Resources and the wider HR team.

The Business Partnering team works in partnership with various stakeholders to deliver business objectives and drive organizational success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Human Resources in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the University's goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and address business needs, and develop solutions to drive organizational success.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders, managers, and employees.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a HR Business Partnering role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in HR or a related field.
