We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Ivetsey Bank Hospital in Wheaton Aston, Stafford. As a key member of our domestic services team, you will be responsible for leading the housekeeping team and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.
About the Role
- Lead the housekeeping team and supervise all areas of housekeeping to ensure a high standard is achieved and maintained.
- Organize COSHH training and maintain the COSHH register.
- Conduct performance and development reviews for the domestic team, identifying training needs and implementing relevant solutions.
- Work with the Centre Manager and HR Administrator to recruit and select new staff.
- Maintain the budget for cleaning supplies, kitchen/housekeeping uniforms, and linen.
- Undertake cleaning of the unit, including service users' areas and communal areas as designated.
- Ensure correct usage, storage, and care of cleaning equipment, adhering to COSHH procedures.
