Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Facilities Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain the required standard of cleaning services following established procedures and frequencies.
  • Undertake a variety of cleaning duties in line with ward/area/location cleaning schedules, including operating mechanical cleaning equipment.
  • Replenish disposables and consumables, and safely store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Carry out specialist cleaning and one-off cleaning duties as required, and assist with laundry duties as needed.
  • Support the supervisor on a day-to-day basis, and assist with the induction and training of new staff members.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of chemicals and cleaning products.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
