Job Summary

The Junior Regional Account Manager is a key role within WernerCo, responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities within a specific geographical region. This position requires a self-motivated and driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can build and nurture positive customer relationships and identify new sales prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow existing accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies.
  • Participate in marketing events and activities to promote WernerCo's products and services.
  • Engage with credit control to ensure prompt payment of local accounts.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to colleagues as required.

Requirements

  • Previous sales and training experience, with a focus on physical demonstrations and feature/benefit discussions.
  • Good general education, with English and Maths GCSE.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrable technical experience and knowledge of the industry.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid full driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
