Role Overview:

We are excited to present a full-time opportunity for the position of Behavioral Science Manager.

The Behavioral Science Manager will assist the Head of Business Improvement in effectively executing the Business Improvement strategy by applying continuous improvement and behavioral science methodologies throughout business operations.

Your efforts will yield substantial year-on-year returns on investment through business enhancement projects and initiatives aimed at modernizing service delivery, reducing costs, and enhancing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Behavioral Science (BeSci) on designated projects to achieve notable improvements in revenue growth, cost efficiency, operational effectiveness, or customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all identified Business Improvement projects have a defined scope and benefits case prior to initiation, and oversee these projects to ensure realization of benefits and evaluation of impact.
  • Collaborate to establish a center of excellence for Business Improvement, focusing specifically on CI and BeSci initiatives.
  • Lead a community of practice in either CI or BeSci, promoting engagement to ensure comprehensive business coverage, supporting professional development, and ensuring targeted local Business Improvement activities yield measurable returns.
  • Align business improvement initiatives with the adoption and advancement of innovative technologies to facilitate business modernization.
  • Identify opportunities for sharing best practices across the organization and broader implementation of improvement activities following initial benefit realization.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Behavioral and/or Social Science or equivalent experience.
  • Proven practitioner in Business Improvement, with professional qualifications in either:

a) Continuous Improvement qualification at least at green belt level or equivalent, with a demonstrated history of effecting process change, and/or

b) Significant experience (preferably qualified) in Behavioral Science with proven application.

  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in digital tools and technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to drive business enhancement and engagement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining effective relationships and influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying improvement opportunities and co-creating customer-centric solutions.
  • Experience in systems and process development, qualitative and quantitative data collection, and insights gathering methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, demonstrating a pragmatic approach when necessary.
  • Adaptable to change and capable of managing workload efficiently.
