Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range: £48,000 - £53,000 for Non-London roles; £53,000 - £58,000 for London roles

Position Overview:

We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Behavioral Science Manager.

The Behavioral Science Manager will collaborate with the Head of Business Improvement to effectively execute the Business Improvement strategy, utilizing continuous improvement and behavioral science methodologies throughout our operations.

Your role will be pivotal in generating substantial year-on-year returns through various business improvement projects and initiatives aimed at modernizing service delivery, reducing costs, and enhancing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Behavioral Science (BeSci) on designated projects to achieve significant enhancements in revenue, cost efficiency, operational effectiveness, or customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all identified Business Improvement projects have a defined scope and benefits case prior to initiation, and guide these projects through to realization and impact assessment.
  • Collaborate to establish a center of excellence for Business Improvement, focusing specifically on CI and BeSci.
  • Lead a community of practice in either CI or BeSci, fostering membership to ensure comprehensive business coverage and supporting professional development to enhance capabilities.
  • Align business improvement initiatives with the adoption and advancement of innovative technologies to facilitate the modernization of operations.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for sharing best practices across the organization and scaling successful improvement initiatives post-benefit realization.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Behavioral and/or Social Science or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Improvement practitioner, with professional qualifications in:

a) Continuous Improvement, at least at the green belt level or equivalent, with a proven history of driving process change, and/or

b) Behavioral Science, with substantial experience in its practical application.

  • Strong project management capabilities, with proficiency in planning, executing, and monitoring multiple projects concurrently.
  • Digital literacy and confidence in utilizing various technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to enhance business improvement and engagement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining effective relationships and influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities and co-creating customer-centric solutions.
  • Proven experience in systems and process development, as well as qualitative and quantitative data collection methodologies.
  • Experience with test/learn approaches and continuous quality improvement practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize workload effectively and work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
