Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Cognitive Behavioral Therapist to join our dedicated team at Connect Health Group Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for managing referrals in accordance with established protocols within our service. Your primary duties will include:

  • Evaluating clients to determine their eligibility for psychological treatment.
  • Designing, executing, and assessing therapy plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintaining a collaborative agreement regarding client interactions and clinical sessions to reduce wait times and ensure accessible treatment.
  • Overseeing a small team of High Intensity Therapists, focusing on case management and supervision.
  • Participating in operational and clinical discussions with stakeholders.
  • Providing operational support by monitoring service performance against key performance indicators, including national recovery rates.
  • Contributing to the creation of training materials for our Clinical Academy and ongoing professional development for our team.
  • Completing all necessary data collection requirements within the service.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all clinical activities and supervision in accordance with service protocols.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure effective step-up and step-down processes are in place, adhering to a stepped care model.
  • Conducting risk assessments and management, identifying clients whose safety needs may require urgent attention.

Main Responsibilities

As a Lead Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals receiving care through our Talking Therapies services. You will deliver a variety of high-intensity, NICE-approved interventions to address a range of anxiety and depression-related issues, utilizing evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapies.

Your expertise in assessment and psychological therapies will enable you to effectively evaluate the appropriateness of psychological interventions and develop tailored therapy programs. You will also provide high-quality clinical supervision and case management support.

We are looking for a well-organized and experienced professional who is committed to delivering exceptional clinical sessions while staying informed about advancements in psychological therapies. A solid understanding of the challenges faced by client groups and familiarity with NICE-approved clinical interventions within a Talking Therapies framework is essential.
