Occupational Therapist

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join their team at Gartnavel Royal Hospital Inpatient Mental Health Adult service.
This is a full-time post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a specialist clinical lead within the inpatient service, delivering specialist occupational therapy assessment, effective person-centred interventions, and evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment.
Key responsibilities include managing referrals within the service, day-to-day management of junior staff and occupational therapy students, and contributing to the evaluation and development of the occupational therapy service.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work with the wider multidisciplinary team, relatives, carers, and partner organisations, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and effective multidisciplinary team working.
