Job Summary:

Brightwork Ltd, a leading procurement agency, is seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join their team. As a critical role for the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring parts and materials are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time at the right cost and quantity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Negotiation and Tenders: Conduct thorough market research and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices.
  • Material Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling of materials to meet production demands.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize the procurement process.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in a procurement role, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • SAP B1 Experience: Familiarity with SAP B1 software would be beneficial.
  • Procurement Qualification: A procurement qualification would be advantageous.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure the best possible prices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • IT Literacy: Proficient in using IT systems to manage procurement processes.
