Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator to join our Resilient, Agile and Focused Operations Team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for building relationships with suppliers, managing data, and driving continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Relationships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to achieve best price, quality, and availability for indirect materials.
- Monitor and expedite purchase orders to prevent stock outs.
- Data Management
- Ensure timely ordering of materials through our ERP system and requisition emails.
- Update the ERP system with confirmed delivery dates and item purchase prices.
- Process procurement credit card expenses and resolve invoice queries.
- Continuous Improvement
- Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance procurement processes and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures.
- Previous experience in a procurement team, ideally within manufacturing.
