Location: Bourton on the Water (with hybrid working from home 40% of the time)

Job Type: Part-time (20-25 hours per week)

Salary: £24,000-£26,000 (FTE)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Administrator to join our Resilient, Agile and Focused Operations Team. As a Procurement Administrator, you will be responsible for building meaningful and professional relationships with our suppliers, achieving best price, quality and availability for indirect materials, and ensuring timely ordering of materials through our ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful and professional relationships with our suppliers
  • Achieve best price, quality and availability for indirect materials
  • Monitor overdue purchase orders and liaise with supplier to ensure goods are delivered before stock outs arise
  • Track and expedite purchase orders
  • Liaise with suppliers and other departments to ensure alignment and support for procurement activities
  • Accurate data input and monitoring
  • Ensure timely ordering of materials through ERP system and requisition emails
  • Update item purchase prices on our system once approved
  • Processing Procurement credit card expenses
  • Resolution of invoice queries
  • Management of stationery and staff welfare items
  • Continual improvement and compliance activities
  • Engage in continuous improvement practises to enhance procurement processes and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities focused on improving the customer experience aligned to our brand
  • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous work in a Procurement team, ideally within manufacturing
  • Good knowledge of purchasing and commercial understanding of other business area functions
  • Experience of using an ERP system
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Organised and pro-active
  • Able to prioritise workload
  • Flexibility to be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communicator and able to work with all stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word and Excel
  • Negotiating skills
  • Detail orientated to ensure accuracy
