Position: Income Officer - Local Operations (Part-Time)

Location: Phoenix House, Basildon

Salary: £19,635 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 21.75 hours per week

Contract Type: Temporary for up to 9 months

We are looking for an Income Officer - Local Operations to become part of our Income Services team in Basildon. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing income management and debt recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage rent accounts and implement the objectives of Sanctuary's rent recovery policy, utilizing enforcement actions when necessary.
  • Deliver high-quality housing management services to Sanctuary's clients, ensuring adherence to tenancy agreements.
  • Assist in the daily provision of exceptional customer service within the income services department.
  • Enhance the visibility of Sanctuary's offerings and work towards improved customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in administration related to customer service and complaint resolution.
  • Ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with income recovery and maximization strategies, including experience with possession proceedings and court case presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
