Position Overview

SS&C Technologies is seeking a Manager of Fund Operations to lead and supervise the Fund Dealing specialists, ensuring that business objectives are met and exceeded through the establishment of robust control frameworks while enhancing the quality and efficiency of the trading process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage order routing and execution across various systems and platforms.
  • Develop and uphold a strong control framework.
  • Provide coaching, training, feedback, and career development for team members.
  • Foster a high-performance culture where the team aims to surpass minimum standards outlined in KPIs and SLAs.
  • Engage and motivate staff effectively.
  • Manage performance and attendance.
  • Plan effectively and think ahead to meet conflicting deadlines and priorities.
  • Identify process enhancements to improve quality, boost efficiency, and mitigate risks.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and across the broader SS&C organization.
  • Process high-value trades accurately with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
  • Ensure completion of all regulatory training for oneself and the team.
  • Adhere to best market and regulatory practices.
  • Actively seek and respond positively to feedback.
  • Utilize service failures as learning opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, and overall service quality.
  • Support team goals, assist colleagues, and contribute to the success of the SS&C Wealth Management division.
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of one's role and its impact on the team and organization.
  • Focus on professional standards and results that directly influence business targets.
  • Take on additional tasks and projects within the department to enhance team and departmental performance.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in People Management and Leadership, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
