Position Overview

Identity and Access Management Lead

Compensation: Up to £115,000 + Performance Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits Package

Location: Flexible across the UK

Work Arrangement: Remote with occasional office visits

About Lorien: A prominent player in the financial services sector is seeking an Identity and Access Management Lead.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a robust identity and access management (IAM) framework that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and compliance mandates.
  • Ensure IAM systems and protocols are effectively designed, deployed, and sustained to fulfill business needs and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and uphold technical benchmarks for IAM, in accordance with security protocols, and implement monitoring and enforcement mechanisms.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of IAM infrastructure to detect vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to security regulations.
  • Collaborate with network engineering teams to deploy secure IAM architectures and configurations. Define and manage access controls and segmentation strategies.
  • Assess, select, and deploy IAM tools and technologies to bolster the organization's security framework.
  • Oversee relationships with IAM vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with the organization's security criteria.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership and the board regarding the status of the IAM program, including risks, incidents, and enhancement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing sophisticated identity and access management (IAM) services.
  • Deep understanding of IAM principles, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Significant experience in privileged account management, including provisioning and deprovisioning, as well as managing privileged access management (PAM) solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in user access governance and privileged access governance, including the formulation and execution of related processes and controls.
  • Strong background in developing and maintaining comprehensive IAM reporting and analytics to enhance program visibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with key technologies such as Microsoft M365, Entra, Azure, and CyberArk.
  • Experience in product development and the ability to implement a robust change management strategy in a complex environment.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and innovative approaches to securing enterprise technology.
