Lead Linux and Storage Solutions Engineer

They are developing enterprise software frameworks designed to simplify the deployment of enterprise and AI infrastructure across various environments. You will collaborate with a leading financial institution that is constructing high-performance computing systems.

The organization prioritizes customer satisfaction and is currently seeking a seasoned Lead Linux and Storage Solutions Engineer to serve as a product authority. In this capacity, you will engage in daily technical operations and escalations, working closely with clients. Your responsibilities will include consulting on pre-sales and technical sales initiatives, as well as resolving escalated technical support challenges by liaising with both customers and the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hybrid role involving client interactions
  • Responsible for managing daily technical operations and escalations, including direct involvement in resolving technical support issues
  • Conduct customer installations, upgrades, and expansions
  • Facilitate regular monthly and quarterly review meetings with clients
  • Develop expertise in the product offerings
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both the customer’s technical team and the internal account management team
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to ensure clients fully leverage their products

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer-facing, post-sales roles involving complex storage solutions
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Linux system administration and the Linux operating system
  • Solid understanding of networking principles, with practical experience in network configurations and troubleshooting on Linux systems
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming, particularly in bash scripting, along with familiarity in additional programming languages
  • Knowledge of DevOps and automation practices
  • Extensive experience in file systems and scale-out NAS implementation, particularly NFS
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities
