Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Depot Supervisor to join our team at Pod Talent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse operatives, coordinating with the shift manager to manage delivery routes, drivers, and stock replenishment, and working towards growth and improvement of your personal and team KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of 20-30 operatives per shift to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with the shift manager to manage delivery routes, drivers, and stock replenishment to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Process Improvement: Work towards growth and improvement of your personal and team KPIs by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues raised by the Customer Experience team to ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally of similar seniority.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to and implement new operational processes in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Warehouse Operations: Good understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency and knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management System) and MS Office.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
