Job Description

**Warehouse Supervisor - Luxury Jewellery Brand**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our client's logistics team in a global luxury jewellery brand. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient and accurate management of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and Motivate a Team: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring efficient daily operations.
  2. Schedule and Assign Tasks: Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance, providing training and development opportunities.
  3. Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of jewellery items, maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
  4. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards before dispatch.
  5. Warehouse Operations: Regularly monitor key metrics such as order accuracy, picking and packing speed, quality control, and stock discrepancies.
  6. Process Improvement: Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize warehouse operations.
  7. Technology Integration: Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory and manage workflow.
  8. Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with merchandising, retail, product design, wholesale, and customer care teams to align warehouse activities with business objectives.
  9. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and productivity metrics.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  1. Previous Experience: Previous background in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally within the jewellery or luxury goods industry.
  2. Inventory Management: Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Desirable Skills: Prior experience with the Peoplevox warehouse management system / Shopify e-commerce platform is desirable, and a forklift license would be a bonus.
