Job Title: Conference Manager, Corporate Events

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference Manager to join our team at Reed Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our corporate events team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of conference and event management, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all front of house operations, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
  • Lead and develop a team of staff, fostering a culture of positivity and high performance.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of venue presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance.
  • Utilize guest booking and profiling systems to enhance the customer journey.
  • Foster a collaborative environment between Front of House and Back of House teams.
  • Drive business growth through innovative strategies and excellent service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a Venue Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bar and restaurant operations.
  • Financial literacy, with experience in budget management and reporting.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
  • Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • A fervent passion for hospitality and a dedication to creating memorable experiences.
