Marketing and Events Executive

Job Summary

The Marketing and Events Executive will play a crucial role in boosting the company's profile through events and marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will have experience with both traditional and digital marketing campaigns as well as event management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic marketing plan in collaboration with key stakeholders, aligning with key objectives and establishing KPIs for evaluation.
  • Raise brand awareness and secure new sales across markets.
  • Write and proofread creative copy for marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain websites and track data analytics to inform marketing decisions.
  • Coordinate logistics for UK and international regional shows and events, including booking events, managing external couriers, and raising purchase orders.
  • Support the organization of logistics for larger-scale national events and conferences.
  • Regularly update the CRM database with leads and activity information.
  • Create event briefs and objectives documents for events or marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and schedule social media posts to engage with the target audience.
  • Distribute marketing collateral to customers and prospects as needed.
  • Have a passion for marketing with a working knowledge of key industry tools such as Google Analytics and Adwords, as well as SEO/PPC.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and flexible approach.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in Marketing, Event Management, PR, or Comms-related subject.
  • 1-2 years of marketing/event management experience.
  • Ability to brainstorm innovative ideas for brand messaging, content, and promotional strategies that differentiate the company from competitors.
  • Utilize data and analytics to refine and optimize campaigns, balancing creative vision with performance metrics.
  • Experience running social media accounts and video editing.
