Conference and Events Team Member

**We are seeking a Conferencing and Events Team Member to join us our headquarters at The Pavilion.**
**What you will do**:
The role will be to foster good working relationships with in the office and to provide a first-class service to all external and internal clients and customers, showing professionalism and displaying a friendly disposition at all times.
- _Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service._
- _Handle all front desk related activities including:_
- _Answering phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions._
- _Checking members into the system._
- _Taking prospective members on tours and sign up new members._
- _Facilitating updates to member’s accounts._
- _Completing sporting/event bookings._
- _Liaising with our sports clubs in regard to pitch bookings._
- _Taking payments and completing end of day cash sheet reports._
- _Assisting Events and Conferencing Co-ordinator by:_
- _Completing room set ups for Conferences and Events._
- _Facilitating Conferencing and Events._
- _Assisting Department Heads by completing administration duties._
- _Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to senior staff as needed._
- _Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the building._
- _Monitoring and ordering stationary._
- _Work with the team to facilitate high profile events._
**What you need to have**:
- _Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations._
- _Ability to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize_
- _An upbeat and positive attitude_
- _Punctuality and reliability are a must_
- _IT Skills - must be proficient in Microsoft office. Experience of using a CRM system is desirable._
- _Flexibility as this role will require you to be able to work morning, evening and weekend shifts._
**Working Patterns**:
Core shift patterns are as follows:
- 7:30am to 3:30pm
- 9:00am to 5:00pm
- 2:30pm to 10:30pm
This a seven day a week rota.
**Salary**:
The salary for this position is _£23,985 per annum_
**Type of Employment**
- Permanent/ Full Time.
- Six Month probation period.
**Reporting Line**
This role will report directly to Conferencing & Events Co-ordinator.
