The Conference & Events Executive will ensure that all in house events are executed seamlessly in the newly rebranded “The Malone” hotel in South Belfast. Working closely with the events sale’s executive, you will ensure the highest standards for our guests, whether it be a wedding, corporate function or private dinner.

**About The Role**

An overview of your duties,
- Review all internal functions ahead of time and ensure all necessary preparations are made, including staffing
- Consistently deliver service excellence, meeting and exceeding the expectations of our guests
- Act on the back of feedback to enhance the customer experience
- Keep abreast of developments in event management, assesses their viability and integrates them into the hotel were appropriate
- Knowledge of the technical specifications of the hotel facilities
- Identify staff training needs within the department, coach and mentor staff
- Work closely with the events sales team to maximise sales and identify areas of potential growth
- Alongside the senior team, develop an appropriate pricing framework for all events

**Required Criteria**
- Must possess an excellent level of written and spoken English
- At least 1 year experience in events/conference department in a hotel environment
- Outstanding customer service skills and an approachable and friendly manner
- High energy, flexible and adaptable - critical skills in events management
- An effective communicator and leader
