Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team at Ritz Recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships with clients, growing existing business, and bringing in new customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve weekly and monthly visit targets to drive sales growth.
  • Focus on achieving monthly sales targets while maintaining margins through effective sales strategies.
  • Proactively manage and develop existing accounts to achieve target spend and maintain margins.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the sales territory by geographically splitting the area to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Attend networking and trade events to establish relationships with potential clients.
  • Plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contact to achieve agreed business aims, including costs and sales.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries to convert leads into sales.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Delegate new business leads promptly, including providing quotations and maximizing conversion of leads.
  • Generate quotations and actively follow up to convert quotations into orders.
  • Provide technical sales advice and support to customers and the sales team.

Salary: £35,000 basic + commission + company car.

Office-based when not at a meeting.
