Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager for Amazon Flex

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our Amazon Flex team. As a key member of our global business development team, you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships and business growth for Amazon Flex.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Negotiate and manage contracts with partner companies to deliver value to Amazon Flex and delivery partners.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner executives to drive growth, renewals, and amendments of existing contracts.
  3. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, prospect, and establish contacts with partner executives.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build programs and own deliverables and financial goals.
  5. Support Amazon Flex country teams in sourcing partners and developing new programs.
  6. Prepare written updates and program reviews for the senior management team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Master's degree in business, computer science, engineering, operations, or logistics.
  • Industry experience with gig-economy delivery/rideshare, logistics, transportation, technology, fin-tech, or health care.
  • Demonstrated competence in working independently to structure, negotiate, and close partnerships and master service agreements.
  • Comfortable juggling priorities and making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to deep dive financial analysis and use data and metrics to back up assumptions and support recommended decisions.
  • Experience conducting business in the Americas, EMEA, & AsiaPac.

  • A competitive base pay ranging from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market.
  • Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
