About the Company: This organization offers a remarkable environment for advancing your field sales career. Reporting to the Commercial Manager for the Animal Care division, you will promote a variety of garden bird feed, pet products, and accessories that are well-known and trusted by consumers. The company has recently expanded its portfolio with additional pet brands and is heavily investing in growth initiatives. Their market presence is extensive, and they have seen remarkable sales growth in recent years. The career opportunities across their various brands and channels are highly appealing.

Position Details: After completing a comprehensive company orientation, you will oversee a portfolio of independent pet retailers, country stores, pet wholesalers, and farm shops in the North East and Yorkshire area. This is a high-performing territory with a well-established customer base, as well as opportunities to cultivate your own key accounts. Your focus will be on increasing sales and establishing new retail partnerships, engaging with pet shop owners, independent retailers, and farm shop managers to promote your specialized, market-leading brands. You will be expected to meet weekly KPIs of 4-5 customer visits per day and achieve monthly sales targets, building relationships and working on product range, inventory, and new offerings, as well as in-store merchandising.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in pet care or agricultural sales
  • Passion for animals with a background in FMCG field sales

Compensation Package for Regional Sales Manager - North East England and Yorkshire:

· Competitive base salary up to £40,000 plus a performance-related bonus of £4,000
